Lapel popping on bespoke suit

Just received my first bespoke suit from one of the reputable (per SF) tailors in Vancouver. Overall its gorgeous but I want to get some comments on the lapel. The main reason I went bespoke is I pop the lapel on every OTR suit I've ever seen (40 chest, 32 waist, pretty lean)

It is difficult to show but the lapel floats about 1.5" off my collarbone. Any comments? I was expecting it to lay flat
