1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Normally don't wear anything in my lapel button hole, but I kind of like the flower pin this guy is sporting. Is there a name for this? Where can they be found?

So I guess I missed some epic threak that outted these as utterly ghey and non-SF approved, right? So be it, I'm still curious. Somebody throw me a link to this mystery threak.

Apparently, that's the kind of thing that can get you punched or headbutted by an SF:er. I stand by the conviction that that is reason enough to wear one. If it annoys nerds on the internet, it's a good thing.[IMG]

Yet wearing multiple, brightly-colored beaded bracelets is perfectly chic...

    It was called '2010'.

A poster on here, Mr K, is selling these if you can track him/his profile down. PG was the first really visible member to wear them, and it kind of exploded from there over the summer. They kinda went from 'ah, cool' to overplayed in about a fortnight.

Our IT team is fascist so I can't see most pictures hosted on photo sites anymore. I thought you guys were all still wearing those things and the bracelets too. I feel let down.

Don't get me wrong OP, I kinda think some lapel pins can be cool.

The ones offered at J Press are neat. But you have to have the confidence/attitude to pull it off.

Now I see. So I guess the bracelets are out. Funny, b/c I did immediately think of PG. And you're right, I haven't been reading SF nearly as much as I once did. I'm going to have to mend my ways...

I like the flowers and screw anyone for saying it's copycat.

As far as I know, you can only get them from Strasburgo in Tokyo. I was there this summer and the store I went to only had 3, none of which in the colors I was looking for. They carry like 8 varieties normally. I think it's around 3000yen each. I may go back next summer and get some. Strasburgo rocks, they've got a great selection of awesome men's clothing... but it is very expensive if you live in the west.

Mr.K's version of them is (no offence Mr.K!) gaudy and too big. It's almost a caricature of the original.

I wear one as well on purpose in hopes of running into a Sr SF'er who will make a mockery out of me and my hot ass wife with an amzing body.

    True story.
