A little late but my card reader broke down. Anyway, here are a few fit pics from the Canvas line. Blue Stripe Chambray, size L: [IMG] [IMG] Blue Oxford, Size L: [IMG] [IMG] Red Chambray, Size M: [IMG] [IMG] After seeing these pics I really like the fit of the medium better but it feels a little snug under the arms still. Also, don't mind the hair, I had just gotten out of the shower and it's still wet...it usually doesn't look that bad (I hope).

I just received these shorts in a light gray color the other day. Very nice quality and super soft material. got them on sale for around $16. http://canvas.landsend.com/pp/ChinoS...1&origin=index Just a note, Land's End customer service is very good. I received this same pair of shorts a couple weeks go and the packaging was ripped from something sharp. The rip went all the way into the shorts themselves and caused some fraying. I called LE and the rep apologized for the error and sent out another pair of shorts immediately and free of charge.

Does anybody own the chino blazer? It looks pretty nice, minimal lining and working button cuffs. Just wondering whether the fit is as slim as on the shirts.

I own this piece and have been pleasedd with it. I ordered my usual jacket size, and it fits slim but not overly so. I don't think that I would have sized up.

I agree, the medium fits much better.

I ordered this a while back in my normal jacket size but sent it back. Felt a little tight around my chest near the armholes. Also, length is for a Reg and I'm an S ... suppose I could have had it shortened, but it was more fabric than I felt comfortable asking a tailor to remove.

Pity, because it seemed pretty well-constructed, especially considering the price.

    Dumb question...

If Lands End has a sale, would that also apply to Lands End Canvas?

Generally, yes. Most coupon codes apply, especially free shipping. Check the small print, though, since Canvas is occasionally excluded.

Has anyone tried their shawl collar cardigan? Their customer service people inform me that a small has a 37in chest but that doesn't sound right to me considering how the rest of their stuff fits on the big side. Do they maybe measure it an in below the armpit or something to get such a low measurement?

Haven't seen that yet but I might be stopping by the store this weekend so I'll see if they have it in stock to take a look at.

forgive the lack of pix, but the slim fit khakis are the best $ I've spent on khakis in my memory.

    $32 with discount coupon...

hope they roll out some more colors.

wondering if the slim fit jeans fit in the same way.

    Or the fit period?

I'm a 'larger gent' but don't like classic fit chinos, leg opening is too big. I was eying those chinos up but I'm unsure if I should go TTS or size up.

    +1

I wish they came in more colors. Fit is exactly what I was looking for.

Also, the shaker-knit shawl collar cardigan is pretty nice. Extremely thick/chunky for cotton, although I wish they made it in wool or at least a wool/cotton blend - I've been looking for something like it ever since I saw Bullitt.

What size did you get? Do you (or anyone who owns it) mind posting some measurements (waist, knee, hem)? Thanks.

I'm washing mine at the moment, but from the email they sent me (and I think it's fairly accurate and you should be able to infer how the measurements scale):

    SIZE: 34 36
    GRMT WAIST: 35 1/2 inches 37 1/2 inches
    SEAT: 44 45 3/4
    FRNT RISE: 9 9 3/8
    BACK RISE: 15 15 1/2
    BTM OPENING: 16 16 1/2

So oversized in the waist by 1.5, small leg opening, etc.
