Got mine in yesterday. I wore it out and not quite sure if I like it. The cut certainly is boxy, as everyone else has already mentioned. I also am not completely sold on the collar. Its too big and floppy to stand up, and turned down it looks a bit plain. I'm wondering if I would have liked this jacket better: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Navigation...294+20~~~20+16+4294967201~15~~~~~~~/96051.jsp
Unfortunately, they don't have my size.

Wearing that jacket today.

Much better fit than the LEC one. A small fits my 38 R perfectly. But it's very, very brown. LEC color blows it away.

Anyone wash their refined slim fit chinos? I have a 32 and 34 length - wondering which one to keep and if I can expect much shrinkage

Just wash both and dry with high heat and then return whichever one you don't want.

Got my second order today from LE/C - couple more of the cotton-cashmere v-necks from LEC and 9 tailored fit OCBDs from LE. Gotta say I'm really impressed with the OCBDs. They're one of the best-fitting OTR shirts I've found (and for $11.99/ea!) and way better than the heritage washed OCBD I got from LEC.

**** those look better. What's the listing for those?

+1 and how are they sized?

They're sized by collar/sleeve. That's a 14.5/32, and I'm around 6'1", 150lbs., 32" waist and I think 38R (not sure about the last one, it's been a while since I've been measured).

The particular shirt in my picture is this one, but I would assume any of their tailored fit shirts would be the same. Even now w/o a promo code they and the plain OCBDs are only $19.99/ea.

How true-to-size is the neck measurement? To the tape, a 15.5 fits me best, but I wear smalls from J. Crew/BR--published as a 14-14.5 neck--with no real problem. If the neck seems a bit forgiving then these look ideal.

Didn't even think about this. They'll accept the return once its been washed?

For sure. I returned a pair of allen edmonds boots after I wore them and they gave me terrible blisters :embar:

They'll accept the return after a year and 40 times worn. LE and LL Bean return policy is awesome.

Unfortunately I don't have a cloth measuring tape (or any measuring tape, for that matter). :eh:

Would you guys mind checking out my fit and letting me know what you think?

I'm about 5'11", 180lbs, 40" chest, 32" waist. I like the fit in the shoulders and in the sleeves, but the waist is a bit boxy. My problem is often that I have pretty broad shoulders and a small waist, so I always end up looking too bulky on top.

Can I have a tailor take in the body???

This is a medium btw.

edit: sorry about the crappy cell phone pics.

The length looks fine but the sleeves are way too short. The jacket just looks very boxy overall.

The more fit pics I see of that jacket, the less impressed I am with it's design: much too long and doesn't look anywhere near as fitted as on the lec website.
