Lambswool scarf scratchy?

So I was at the outlet mall today and of course stopped by Brooks, picked up some nice brooks (not 346) oxfords for $26 each and also a lambswool scarf for $26 as well, however my brother in law when we got home commented that it looked like it might be scratchy...

Didn't know if this was the case? I looked at the cashmere ones as well but they didn't seem as if they would be as practical for real use as the lambswool and that they were more decorative...might go back for a cashmere as well though

Thanks

Get the cashmere.

You should be fine though with the lambswool.

I originally saw this and thought Manouche posted this. Heh.

Funny, I thirfted an authentic soviet era russian wool scarf the other day which is 100% wool. While its scratchy, it doesnt seem to bother me. Its as if the scarf always wants me to know its there, like the KGB back in the day

Your last line I am taking as a personal insult!

With that said, I really liked the cashmere, but it was just so thin I didn't have an immediate need for it, I wanted something bigger that might actually keep me warmer if I needed it...but I am tempted to go back for the cashmere also since with the discounts it was only like $90 or so.
