A unique style that goes very well with his job. I think it`s much better than the boring jacket and T-shirt look that a lot of top designers always wear.

My new avatar is inspired by Karl Lagerfeld's look.

What a delightfully strange man.

(Lagerfeld or Posh, take your pick.)

I like the secret servicemen looking people behind them.

I think the short, stocky one just over Posh's shoulder is an interrogation specialist of some kind... ex-Mossad maybe? Or maybe with the Italian GIS. Either way, one look into his dead black eyes and you can tell he's into his work. His tie is just loose enough for him to tug it over his shoulder so that it won't fall into the "work area" when he takes off the jacket and rolls up his sleeves for a little tenderizing...

The one over Lagerfeld's shoulder is the "cocky new recruit" who wants to make a difference in the world. He's constantly wondering aloud why the agency teamed him up with this pudgy old man who, in the post cold war era, is a dinosaur. All this kid respects is the letter of the law and his own physical abilities, until the fateful day when all the rules fly out the window. He's going to come to respect experience and learn that physical prowess and toughness aren't neccesarily the same thing.

The one in the far back in between Karl and Posh, under the boom mike is just some lame emo hipster trying to score some sweet Lagerfeld swag.

+1
Also, sometimes I still regret not buying the Lagerfeld leather overcoat I saw at KaDeWe in Berlin, that appeared to be made up by a lot of vertical black leather strips sewn together in a way that made it look like a pin- or rope-stripe coat. I am not sure of on what kind of occasions I would have been able to wear it, though.

The one just out of shot on the right has one day until retirement. He's looking forward to watching his kids grow up, and then spending some time puttering around on the little fishing boat he built by hand.

The poor, poor unsupecting bastard.

Lagerfeld looks like he just caught a whiff of something nasty. Maybe Posh smells bad because of barfing up her food after every meal. Or maybe he realises it was a bad move to wear the Beckham "Instinct" cologne just to impress her. He looks better in a longer coat, anyway:

that photo seems heavily doctored to me, at least with the heavies in the b.g.

I like his trousers. He is a very strange looking man, but isn't it great that he exists? Posh, on the other hand, could disappear and I'd be happy.
