Lacoste Size 3 (XS) = what size in Ralph Lauren?

Hi guys. I have 2 lacoste size 3 polo. I'm 6'1 173lbs and I like when my polos are fitted like my t-shirts.
I normally wear diesel and energie t-shirts in large size.

I want to order a ralph lauren polo classic fit and a custom fit. Should I get a small in classic fit and a medium in custom fit?

I believe Size 3 is a Small, Size 2 is XS

I'm 6'3", 180, 42" chest; I wear a L in the RL custom fit. It's fitted but not tight.

I have size 3 in my Lacoste's & S in my RL Classic Fit, so go for that. Haven't tried any custom fits so can't help you there.

Yes, or you could do small in custom (but it would be more trim than the Lacostes).

My jeans are 33' waist and I saw that the small size RL polo are 28'-30' ...and my neck size is 15'1/2 .. Should I still go for small size? How is the custom fit in small vs lacoste XS?

My Lacoste 3 is a LS, so I don't know if it would be accurate to compare.

Lacoste does make a "retro-fit", which is rather like a RL custom fit. The sizes between those two should be pretty comprable, at least in my experience.
