Lacoste Polos- Variable Croc Logo?

I received my second Lacoste polo in the mail today and when I compared it to my existing polo, I discovered that every thing was exactly the same except for A) the second polo was made in Peru, not El Salvador like the first and B) there was slight variation in the crocodile logos located on the front of the shirts. The leg lengths of the crocs are slightly different, the teeth are slightly more pronounced on the second, the tail tips are different (one is round, the other is pointy), the "toes" of the crocs are different, and the red part of the mouth is different.

The first, made in El Salvador:

The second, made in Peru:

Both of these polos are legitimate (from the www.lacosteusa.com store).

Would anyone else be able to upload pictures of their Lacoste crocs? I don't know if the factories in each country are configured differently or if there is variability within polos of the same country of origin. I apologize for the quality; I don't have my digital camera with me. Thanks.

It is a clear case of geographically localised phenotype variation. Differences in the two habitats are simply causing a process of divergent evolution which may eventually lead to speciation. You should not be too concerned about this, just bear in mind that if divergent evolution continues for long enough the two crocodiles may become sexually incompatible and any mating between them would result in sterile, if any young.
So long as you do not intend to breed your polo shirts and raise a new generation this really isn't a problem.

The line thru the croc should read "Lacoste"

They are both different colors. The first one is a light blue and the second is a light yellow. I used my iSight camera on my MacBook, so that explains the color issue.
