I bought a coat and had it altered at the store. When I pick it up the label is different and now it is in the store's name. Is it normal for boutique stores to change labels?

So, I called the store and asked why the label in the coat was changed to their store name. I basically just got a ear full of "how dare you question us..." They did admit changing the label and said it's for advertising purposes.

So what now? I know they probably won't accept a refund and I don't really want to deal with rude people. What should I do now? Just keep it?

Why do you care so much about the label? Do you have an eye on the back of your neck that is bothered by it?

I still maintian that you are a troll.

However you have two choices though - demand that they change it back or else refund you OR

Remove it and do without - or does this mean you cannot boast?

You paid them to alter your clothing, not to turn you into a walking billboard for their store. It's not exactly a big deal though, just remove their label and don't go to that store again.
