    That is very much a LK car.

    ....the interior is kind of neat, especially for a car of that era.

    That's a nice car--discreet enough not to be instantly recognizable by the masses, but flamboyant enough to be distinctive.

    Pininfarina made a prototype of the Mercedes SL as well:

    It's to suggest unspeakable things to the woman sitting in the next seat.

    It's a Ferrari....the shifter has to compensate for what the owner doesn't have.

    Not to mention extremely expensive to service / own. Plus the almost-new (i.e. hardly used) leather from the now defunct Connolly adds to the charm.
