    Unbelievable.

As soon as I post my reply in here about my hate towards these types of businesses and money only-minded people,

this new guw AmericanWay includes me in his spam PM asking if I want to join in a money-making opportunity to get rich.

This is just my point, these people have nothing else on theri mind but an extra dollar for themselves; they don't mind making a hundred enemies or losing friends as long as statistically they can get one out of every hundred to be duped.
No consideration, no intelligence, no sensibility.

If you just read what I posted here I f you were considerate enough you wouldn't have pmed me with your crap.

Shit, brother! You were on target when you described these mindless money-grubbing selfish drones in your earlier post. What a stupid little man this MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING scoundrel is.

BTW, I've known and encountered this kind of scammer- Amway and its other clones, and what I always hear from them is how much they make and what car they drive. Are they all sharing the same training book?

    Hey AmericanWay$,

You know what would really convince the people here and get them motivated? If you were to post some scans of your tax returns or a note from your accountant listing your assets (of course blank out any personal info). That way they can see how much of a success you have become!

Pictures of you with your car or on an exotic holiday would also show them what's what, and convince the nay sayers!

I'm sure your Integra is easier to maintain - one can still get parts locally I think, without begging someone in Italy to troll for genuine and preferably new parts that are absolutely not Fiat aftermarket! I imagine too, that your car will never ever die. A friend has one, with, I think about 400,000 kms on it. Maybe one of the lucky ones, but jeezus.
Oh yes, I can EASILY get parts locally. It's a 94 model. [IMG] I can also get third party parts locally, for far less than the Honda genuine parts (although up until now I've stuck with Honda parts). As for lasting forever, actually there's a few things wrong with mine and it's on 125,000kms. On high cam it's using too much petrol (probably needs a tune, or the VTEC actuator replaced, not sure what's going on there), and it will need new suspension and rotors soon. I do tend to drive it like the world is coming to an end behind me though, so perhaps that'll shorten it's life a little...? Having said that, after new rotors, suspension (I think just dampers and springs, but bushes might need swapping out too) and that VTEC problem fixed, it'll be like new again. Still runs perfectly below 6000rpm. [IMG]

I had one of those - a 94 Integra VTEC - ran it to 170,000 miles and it still ran fine. Mrs. T got me to sell it off but I wish I still had it. The engine was nearly bulletproof, but I did perhaps 80% highway driving so that probably helped matters a bit.

Good morning styleforum! I am pleased to see that so many of you are interested in learning more about the business opportunities provided by AMWAY! I've had an especially profitable morning so far: $5000 in sales!
On the Amway website it claims to have millions of people selling their products world wide, and wiki states that it sold $7.2 billion worth of products globally last year. If we assume millions means 1 million, then the average sales made by one of your representatives is $7,200 a year. Technically, to be "millions" it has to be at least 2 million... so thats an average of $3,600 sales per person per year. How much do these sales people get to keep? If we assume they have a 20% markup (which sounds extremely generous), they're still only earning an average of $620 a year. I earn more than that after tax in just one week! And that's all using the most generous figures. The fact that some people make millions makes this a worse proposition for the average seller, pushing their average income down even further.
Running a business takes dedication and unfortunitaly some of the AMWAY Business Owners are not very motivated. They do not make very many sales and do not have a well developed selling team. These deadbeats bring down the average revenue generated people who invest their time into the business opportunity (Like me[IMG] ).
[If true] one billion in gross retail sales for cosmetics is not that much really these days - and their "Artistry" line has an inflated markup. Based on the business practices of most "IBO's" - sadly, most of these products are not actually sold to customers, but consumed by the "Owners" that either in defiance or embarrasment - purchase their own product for personal use, that was originally meant as stock for external retail.
Sadly, you do not know what you are talking about. Spreading these lies hurts the image of AMWAY and my earning potential...AMWAY Business Owners are not required to make any minimum or ongoing purchases. And if a Business Owner decides to leave the business, AMWAY will purchase back any unused, currently marketable AMWAY products and literature. It really is a risk free business oppourtunity with unlimited potential![IMG] [IMG] Your expereince in international trade makes you well suited for AMWAY business opportunities. The rapid, groundbreaking global expansion of AMWAY has allowed for individuals to earn record amounts of income through the internationalization of their selling team. Imagine running an international busines from home!!! Also, i did not ask you what you drive.
Shit, brother! You were on target when you described these mindless money-grubbing selfish drones in your earlier post. What a stupid little man this MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING scoundrel is. Although AMWAY provides training material developed by some of the sharpest and most successful business minds in the world, you're missing the point...AMWAY Business Owners share their remarkable success stories because they want their friends and associates to experience the same freedom. I would have to say that this is a borderline bannable offense. As a borderline banning person I would have to advise AmericanWay to not do this again, or else he will be learning about Allen Edmonds' crocodile offerings from the public gallery.....

I did not realize it was a bannable offense. I admit I contacted 4 members who claimed to have bad experiences with AMWAY. I was merely trying to open a dialogue with them. I will avoid doing so in the future. [IMG]
