Hi,

I'll be going to Kyoto in a 2 weeks time for work. Don't really have much free time so will greatly appreciate it if I can get some help concerning the shops in the area. specifically hoping to have a look at some Canes, Denimes, Eternals etc etc

Can't seem to find anything using the Search function. Pity Superfuture is down at this moment, I think there used to be a good guide there...

there's a few shops in kyoto, but you should just hop on a train to osaka (10-30 min.) as they have a bigger selection there. you could probably just wander around amerimura and shinsaibaishi and you'll run across the shops.

I made a google mashup here...

http://www.indigofan.com/indigofan/map_kyoto.html

It's a bit difficult to read, but the main shops I found were: IN (Samurai), Denime, and Loftman (Eternal). There are probably others, but I didn't research on the web.

If you like the food, there is good ramen at the top of the trainstation centre. If you like onsens & scenery, then go for the walk from Kibune to Kurama onsen.

Thanks trinket. Yeah, I did come across your website and map. It's a good starting point...
