Getting back to the shoes in the original post... I freakin' love em... I know I sound like a fan boy now. I am not sure if I, the Jamaican, would have a scorpion on mine - yes, star signs and stuff, I know - but the execution is delicious - not immediately obvious as a scorpion; just looks like a random medallion at first. Moreover, I love the shape of the shoe: the inside shot is great; the seamless back; the purple interior lining contrast so perfectly against the rich brown (and the gold writing).

I do agree with Jun, himself, who notes that the laces might have been better had they been flat (waxed) similar to those used by Mr. Koji Suzuki perhaps.

All in all its a love story for me. Sure I'd have a more traditional medallion, but these are quite delicious. J
