jake davis blog just had an entry on a cheap ass workshirt by Koto that is exclusive to Urban Outfitters. it looks great in the pics but has anyone actually seen, tried it on, or bought it?

i guess at that price anyone could buy and not even regret it. i really wanted a chambray workshirt either from EG or WWM but they are so expensive compared to this ...

I whined about this already, but I can't lie--robbie's looks good. Kato, 45rpm, and EG should sue.

Dillards (even more whacky than UO) has a nice chambray from "Tre Vero" (I think a house brand in the RL, J. Crew vein) in multiple colors. I prefer it to the Koto quite a bit - fit is better, a bit less costumey for $15 or so more than the Koto.

Is this the one you're referring to?

For $40, you can't go too wrong with the Koto, but don't expect the quality to be anywhere near EG or WWM.

Negative, I didn't see that shirt at all. Retail on this one was like $60, not currently discounted in-store. I think they had gray, blue, white, lavender and a light red.

In hindsight, I was wrong about this. They were on sale for $30, and that still didn't inspire me to buy one. All of the FW Koto jackets were $20.

I didn't see any when I was there on Friday. Otherwise, I would have tried them on. Based on the chambray used in their other stuff, I'd imagine these would pretty quickly feel and look like a pair of linen or even pajama pants.

I just bought the shirt and the pants look dope. I may want to go chambray Texas tux-steez.

Anybody try the pants since the last post? How'd sizing go?

There was a post buried somewhere in regards to the pants. You may or may not be able to find it searching. Maybe it was in the UO Anonymous thread. The post was very negative in regards to the quality. "Feel terrible" iirc.
