Hi, I just want a few honest opinions on what you guys think about the fashion of wearing knee high boots with jeans on a guy. The sort of boots I'm referring too are these:

and these:

Is it only restricted to guys who live in Cowboy Country, Wyoming, Calgary etc or is it fashionable in places like NY, LA as well???... Please let me know what you think.

Do you think it could work, or do you think it would look stupid.

Those are unlike any cowboy boots I've seen, but what do I know. They're fine anywhere. See Worm in Rounders.

I see it in NY sometimes, but it seems to be a gay thing. Have not really seen it on str8 boys.

I assume you're not tucking your jeans into your boots, right? If they're just under your jeans, then they seem fine to me. I'm not a fan of the pug-nosed toe, but that's just a personal preference.

Do you pull up their pants to check?

jeans tucked into boots....NO! unless you are also wearing a cape

otherwise they look fine. But I'm assuming you do want to tuck since you made the height of the boots a prominent point. so once again, no.

Edna: It will be bold! Dramatic!
Bob: Yeah!
Edna: Heroic!
Bob: Yeah. Something classic - like Dynaguy. Oh, he had a great look! Oh, the cape and the boots...
Edna: [throws a wadded ball of paper at Bob's head] No capes!
Bob: Isn't that my decision?
Edna: Do you remember Thunderhead? Tall, storm powers? Nice man, good with kids.
Bob: Listen, E...
Edna: November 15th of '58! All was well, another day saved, when? his cape snagged on a missile fin!
Bob: Thunderhead was not the brightest bulb...
Edna: Stratogale! April 23rd, '57! Cape caught in a jet turbine!
Bob: E, you can't generalize about these things...
Edna: Metaman, express elevator! Dynaguy, snag on takeoff! Splashdown, sucked into a vortex!
[shouts]
Edna: No capes!
