I just bought a pair of Kicking Mule Workshop 2010s on ebay for $91 and after the bidding ended, I noticed that the back views do not include the leather patch that are on the 2008 collection. Does anyone have any idea what year these would be from? The seller said they are japanese selvage but are these the chinese version? any feedback would be helpful.

But I've seen pics of earlier collections w/out the back leather patch. The seller is powerseller who sells lots of clothes, so I don't think it is a fake. I just wanted to know if it was a previous collection or not.

Anyone have any older KMWs?

I have the older MIC ones...with apparently the same Japanese selvage denim...and they don't have the patch.

so- is the denim the same quality? I am a little mad that I didn't research this a bit more before buying. Still not a bad price though (under $100). i noticed the pockets were a tad different too.
