I dont know if anyone is interested but Klaxon Howl is doing a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to open a NY pop up shop. Im a huge fan of all the stuff they make. Literally 3/4 of my closet is Klaxon Howl stuff. All of the rewards for making pledges are really low prices on their stuff. Im going for the limited edition japanese chambray shirt which is something they are only going to make for the campaign. The watch cap is really great too. I have it in 2 colours already.

Also, I dont work for Klaxon Howl at all I just really like what they do and the fact that they are based out of Toronto and everything is made here is pretty cool.

So much good stuff. Im patiently waiting for the denim half zip to arrive. Its one of the nicest denim shirts Ive ever seen. Im also going to pick up the camo pants from the suit. I have a pair of wool pants in the same fit and I really like them.

It looks like they've got nice materials and quality. I'm interested. I did notice though that the sizing seems a little off, the chest measurements seem 1-2 sizes larger than normal...I have a 42" chest and usually wear a large but based on their sizing chart could fit into their smalls and mediums with room to spare.

Partial bump, and also a real point.

The campaign ends in 3 days. I just found out about this today after I picked up a Klaxon Howl x Palmer Trading Co. chambray shirt over the weekend. I really liked the fit and the make. I'm tall, and often have trouble with sleeve length in many traditional slim-workwear/heritage inspired brands, but the sleeeves were nice without having to deal with way too much room in the waste or neck as it typical when I size up.

    Shirt looks great too.

    See it here:

Indigo looks a little darker in the shot than real life.

The sizing chart doesnt really seem correct to me. I own a lot of their shirts and I typically buy either small or extra small. If you have a 42" chest you would probably want to go for a large or a medium. You would probably be better off calling the shop and getting them to measure the specific shirt you want. The measurements vary between fabrics even in the same style of shirts sometimes.

I own two of that shirt now. Its one of my favorites for sure. They fade really well the more you wash and wear them.
