The classic one is not a good movie imo. Lot of these classics people automatically state that they are good or better I think usually out of being pretentious when they seen both versions but others may have just seen the latest.

For example Oceans eleven. Original? Horrible. Yeah they had a great cast but movie was horrible. I take the 2001 version over that anyday.
