Kiton Tie Labels

Hello. I have notice that there are 2 types and colors of Kiton tie labels posted on Ebay. One label is the black "Kiton Napoli" label that is used on the ties sold at Neimans, etc. The other label is a white label tie label that resembles the labels used in their shirts.

Is there a difference? Knock off ties?

With so many Kiton ties on Ebay and on line retail sites, I am surprised that none of the members have a thought or explanation whether the "white label" Kiton's are legit or knock offs.

Please give your thoughts.

I believe the black is the older of the two, while the white is the newer label.

I know this is an old thread, but I don't think it was answered. I just bought a tie from the boutique in NYC and it has the black napoli label, but the one I bought online has a white label. Is the white label Kiton tie not legit?

More importantly, it sounds like you paid full price for something. Should your SF membership be revoked?

I don't know about the white label, but this one is real:

Sometimes you get a great deal, sometimes you pay full price if you like something and can't find it elsewhere. Especially when you are talking about a tie rather than a whole suit

My guess is that what is stated above is correct: older kiton ties have white labels.

This makes sense. Now I understand why all the ties being sold by discounters are white label. Because they are from years past. I was just concerned that I had bought a fake Kiton with a white label on it.
