Hi there,

I recently acquired two gorgeous Kiton jackets, one of which is a 12.9 micron super 210s wool and the other is a 13.5 micron super 200s wool, both of which with all the sartorial excellence one could wish for. These are the first of this level I’ve bought, the highest I’ve previously had being super 180s. I was just wondering if the experts on this site could tell me how much I should attempt to sell these for, as I’m really not too sure.

As an aside, I recently saw a material tag that I didn’t recognise which I would appreciate identifying. It is a “W5” descriptor, which comprises 75% of the material of a Brioni suit I own. Although similar looking it is not the WS label of cashmere, and I can’t seem to find it on the internet.

Thanks!

A few considerations:
1. Demand for tailored items has dropped - a LOT. Just look at Ebay and the amount of top tier makers' garments for sale vs. what has actually sold and at what price.
2. Those jackets look to be older models and may be suit orphans?
3. Makers charge more for super number fabrics, but it doesn't necessarily mean the garment is going to be superior.
4. Don't know what the "W5" indicates, but that one jacket looks like it's 25% cotton.
