    Dear SF members,

I came across an ebayer from Austria who has sold quite a few Kiton sport coats and suits recently: http://www.ebay.de/usr/afrasitas?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

I read that it is almost impossible for anyone to buy a large number of Kiton sport coats and suits in order to resell them at very low prices. So, I was wondering if the items the seller is listing are legit or counterfeits?

    Here are two examples: http://www.ebay.de/itm/KITON-Sport-...SA_MC_Blazers_Sport_Coats&hash=item25987b5621

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/fine-KITON-S...SA_MC_Blazers_Sport_Coats&hash=item2598676505

I compared them with other items on other websites and the labels all seem to be legit, but I am still suspicious, because I cannot imagine how someone can get a hold of such a large number of Kiton suits and sport coats.

It would be great if some of the more experienced and knowledgeable SF members, who are familiar with Kiton clothes, could help me out here.

Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks for the (albeit very short) answer!

    Questions:

    1. Can you elaborate why you came to that conclusion?

    2. Do you have a guess how someone can obtain so many Kiton sport coats (this ebayer has sold some 50 Kiton sport coats over the last 6 months or so) at such low prices? I read that Kiton would never sell their suits or sport coats for such a price to wholesalers/ jobbers.

They are second hand. Perhaps he's just selling his or someone elses personal collection?

You are probably right. Though the suits come in different sizes, so they must come from multiple collections. And how many people have 20 Kiton suits that they want to sell for less than 300 dollars?

I guess I wouldn't be worried if he sold them for 1,000 dollars like "A guy from Shanghai" and uf he sold over five, instead of 50, in the last 6 months!

Anyways, as long as they are not counterfeits, I am not too interested where the he got them from really (as long as it was legal)... was just wondering.

They are legit, unsure of the legality of how they are procured but all are from very high end stores in Austria. They're likely jobbed out to him. I actually just bought an Attolini off of him about a week ago and it is 100% authentic, great service too although they wont throw in the hangers.
