I don't know, but this issue was discussed a couple weeks ago I think. I recall A. Harris (perhaps) saying that Kiton considered outsourcing to someone like Lattanzi, but instead have either purchased or entered into some kind of agreement with another Italian shoemaker (a very small one though, as I recall).

I was admiring them at Louis Boston and the consultant (Lino) said that Kiton has a grand total of five people making shoes for them. They're absolutely beautiful shoes but given the high price I ended up "settling" for a pair of Vass Budapests in cordovan... they too are wonderful but comparatively mass-produced by a staff of 15. Â

I really like those shoes, thanks for posting.

There is something about the shape that I am not too keen on, though. It seems like maybe the upper area is a little too rounded? It also could be due to the larger strap is in a much different proportion than a "designer" monk, or E. Green's "Stowe."
