I could try to proxy one the next time I'm in Vegas, but you may as well just contact the store itself as you'll save on Paypal fees, etc. . . if they're willing to ship.

Does anyone know the sale situation for either the Kiton stores or the department stores which stock Kiton shirts?

If you're not massively happy buying over the phone or online and you're based in the UK but not near London then I think you'll have trouble getting hold of Kiton. In London you have the Kiton shop which would have them but I can't remember how much they were full price, their linen jackets were £3.5k so I would think their shirts full price would be over £300. I would imagine their sale will have ended by now too, I'm afraid.
Yoox sometimes have them but it's hit or miss, they have a couple of shirts at present but none of these checks, neither does EHaberdasher or Shop the Finest (although Shop the Finest have a couple similar) and then you've got to get them shipped from America. Harrods sale has finished, I believe not sure who else would stock Kiton.
I'd say give the Kiton store in London a call at least you'd then know if they have any left or might still stock them for their winter sale etc.

Oh, I'm happy buying over the phone or online, I just don't know how happy stores are doing this, or whether I'll be ripped off in some way (like being sold shirts at full retail when they're on sale).

But yes, I'm fine with buying long distance.

Kiton shop in Roma has dozens of check shirts from the new A/W 2010 collection.
From 270 to 450 euro, depending on the fabric.

And the Kiton stores in Italy don't do sale so price is about the same all year round

Wow! If you are in the US you are really getting ripped! Retail is $700+ on the lower end.

You win some you loose some. Try buying a US made car in Europe, Ford Mustang of USD 28K may set you back EUR 40K, that's almost triple the price

I just did that. Amazingly friendly and accommodating. They're going to send photos. They don't have the ones in the photo though. Hopefully the A/W collection will yield something even though I went into this hoping to find some summer stuff on sale to pack away until next year. I was given some good tips for US stores, but if I buy through a US store I will face hefty customs charges. I'm still interested in those proxy offers for the summer shirts.

Because Mustang is a crap. There are much better offers of car manufacturers in Europe...

There's a Kiton shop here, I can have a look for you, let you know, then you can call them.

I'd be much obliged if you could do that. I was disappointed by what was available from the Roma store. (One possible choice there though).
