Despite Kiton being one of the best suit makers out there, I have heard that their causal stuff isn't so good. I'm thinking about buying this K. (Kiton's sport line) leather jacket. The quality of the leather looks amazing, but I'm concerned that the fit won't be flattering. For example, one of the jackets I'm looking at has measurements (shoulders 20", pit to pit 24" , length 25.6" and sleeves at 26") for a size eu 50.

Anyone have experience with Kiton or K. leather jackets...?

Those look like overcoat measurements.

IMO, the best luxury-brand leather outerwear maker is Brunello Cucinelli by far.

I found on sale a K trench size 50 which had about the same measurements. I am 40R and this was too big for me (chest and sleeves). I was disappointed being the only size left. Yoox had K coats in the last season, but I did not take the risk.

Yeah, really? I never had one, handled a couple, but wasnt floored. I have a leather trench from Brioni that is just insane.

I'm not going to pretend to be a huge-timer like many others here, but I don't think any luxury maker is "by far" superior to others. I really like my LP stuff, though...

Strongly agree. Love Cucinelli for their cashmere and their leather outerwear. Check out the reversible brown leather button up with blue nylon bomber on the inside for this spring. It is incredible! I put the thing on and had a hard time not buying it on the spot. Its around $3700 and worth every penny. I actually got to attend the a Cucinelli trunk show up at Wilkes Bash in SF last week. Let me tell you, if you like Cucinelli leather outerwear and Cucinelli outwear in general, you will LOVE F/W 2011. The distressed buffalo leather is AMAZING!!!! Had some great double breasted coats, and a wonderful shearling as well. Oh, and they have a really good looking hiking boot with blue cashmere laces that might actually make me start hiking.

As much as I love BC, I don't think their leather outwear is that fantastic. Most are too thin for my liking. Loro Piana on the other hand...
