Kiton Hand Stitching?

Hey guys I’m just wondering, is the presented stitching machine or handmade? Underneath the lining it looks like machine stitching. If it is machine stitching, is it characteristic for Kiton to have machine stitching in the lining like that?

Looks like machine. In my opinion, for a seam like that, handstitching doesn't make a difference with respect to wearability.

I just checked one of my Kiton jackets that's quarter lined and I see that the stitching is the same as the stitching that you had shown in the picture.

No worries about that particular stitching, and just enjoy the garment and wear it to your good health

it’s hard to see how the stitching in question can affect either the functionality or the aesthetics and drape of the jacket.

Well it has hand made button holes and it is full canvas, so I doubt its fake

So sure of yourself, yet you posted the original query suggesting you may have had some doubt yourself.

I don’t think he’s saying it’s not authentic. Just stating an observation.

That part of the jacket may have been shortened, but I don't know.

Handmade buttonholes and full canvas aren't that uncommon, but I'm not implying your jacket is a fake.

Personally, I don't think it's worthwhile to obsess over whether something is fake. So long as it looks and feels good on you, that's all that matters.
