Thoughts on the shoes? How are the prices?

I tried, i can post some images but later. Prices are around 700 euros well made but no sense of style i gave them a picture and they were not able to do it properly. their leather is not the best also. For the same work but 2 times cheaper there is a guy a few meters but he speaks only Polish. http://januszkiewicz.chmielna.waw.pl/ People seem more satisfied from Marcel in Budapest and also from Vass.

Just got my pair (finally!-- not their fault, though).

Very good, obviously handmade, fit not bad. I did get measured in Warsaw, but did not have a fitting. They seem a little big at the moment, although maybe the heels' softening will change how my feet feel on that issue. Otherwise, I can see using medium instead of fine socks to increase the comfort.

I'm still forming opinions about the proportions. The photos of models on their website are quite stunning-- mine are not at that kind of level. Maybe my feet just don't work with their training as sculptors? Perhaps shoes 2.0 will meet with more decisive success if I request a small change in the toe shape or something.

As mentioned, Januszkiewicz's work is more impressive across the board, even though he's very much a one-man band.

All in all: plausible substitute for Austro-Hungarian bespoke (especially at the price of <$1,000).

That price also makes them less expensive than GG/EG MTO. Whether losing the security of a standard, pre-determined last and the ability to order over the phone is a good thing will be up to you.
