Our final sport coat from Ring Jacket today features fabric from Subalpino. A 58-42 cotton-linen blend, this looks like a bit of a sharkskin at a distance with a slate blue-grey color, maybe even a dark-toned chambray.

When you get up close, however, you notice a very tightly woven herringbone/chevron pattern with irregular coloration with specs of white, indigo and grey. Sizes EU 48, 50, 52 available for $1095. Features dual vents, notch lapels, three-open patch pockets, half-lined interior and two-button front.

I think the best way to sum it up would be "Jim's surprise grab bag". [IMG]

That Subalpino fabric really makes a good looking Spring/Summer jacket.

Some new car coats from Luciano Barbera for spring. These are a linen-cotton blend and feature a partial lining. A good lightweight layer, it has a zip and horn button closure and leather trimming on the placket and collar. Two colors available: stone (EU sizes 48, 52, 56) and rust (EU 50, 52, 54, 56). $1995.

These are great for when you want to wear an alternative to a sport coat but still have a look thats a bit more tailored. Heck, you can even add a pocket square to the breast pocket if you're so inclined.

Some more new spring Di Maestro. This is a washed cotton-linen (58-42) hopsack that's unstructured and unlined in a beautiful dark chocolate brown. The double breasted jacket has patch pockets and three interior pockets. If you've tried Boglioli in the past, this feels similar, but a bit more relxed and the fabric slightly more substantial than I've seen. Sizes IT 48, 50, 52. $1695.

New spring shirts from Finamore 1925. If you enjoy hand-sewn details, then these are for you. The pick stitching along the shoulder line and the hand attached shoulders look great and feel even better on. Fit is swimming but not overly slim. I compare the often to the Eton Contemporary fit, however, with higher armholes and trimmer sleeves and no darts. Prices range from $450-$550 depending on fabric. For a casual summer shirt, he brown plaid linen is a personal favorite with the bold white windowpane and hues of cobalt running thru it.

Just in time for the trunk show, we received a set of three new trousers from Ring Jacket. Two in wool and a cotton dress khaki.

Sizes start at 28" and go to 36". In regards to fit, I found them true to size in the waist and the best way to describe them would be "slim straight".

We'll have size runs at the trunk show for those who want to try them on. Prices range $275-295.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the show. And we still have some appointment slots open, too. If you have questions, reach out to us at appointments@khakiscarmel.com

Great meeting the whole crew tonight. Fell in love with the Creamy Waffle fabric, unfortunately nothing left in my size. Awesome to finally meet folks. Cheers.

It was stuffy in that room, but nice to see old faces and meet new ones. See you at the next one.

It did get a bit cosy in there towards the end! But many thanks to Jim and his crew, and it was very enjoyable to meet so many people who share my interests. It was a great time, and now I know I have to take a drive down to Carmel!

You won't be disappointed. When Jim said they go a little crazy with their mannequins, he wasn't exaggerating. They've got a huge selection in there.
