When you do visit Carmel James, just be sure to allow a LOT of time at Khakis. Every time we go, my wife takes the dog, goes for a long walk along the beach, gets something to eat, does some shopping, etc., because she knows I'll be looking at everything at Khakis for at least two hours. They have a real variety. Lots of options.

Here are some pics of just a few of the many books at the last Ring trunk show. Lots to choose from.

I can't wait for the trunk show. Look forward to seeing what Ring has to offer from their own exclusive fabrics plus a chance to look through some really cool fall winter books.

I hope the new EG will make it to the show. Such a great looking shoe

I'm guessing you'll walk away with the EG shoe plus one suit and one jacket :)

Those gorgeous Drapers fabrics look like a streaky linen. Love the bottle green one, which I think Justin did a jacket in but not sure.

I'm starting to go back and forth between these two fabrics. The Loro Piana Shepards Check in any of these colors would work for me or the Donegal tweed in the blue. Decision, decisions.....

I'm amazed at how versatile shepherd's check is and with just the right touch of grandpa steez.

A display of tweed from Holland & Sherry's Sherry Tweed book in 10-11oz. Fabrics in this book include tweeds done in windowpanes, plain twills, donegals, herringbone, etc.

Very excited for our trunk show at the Le Meridien hotel in San Francisco on September 28th. Please make an appointment by dropping an email to [email protected] or call the store at 831-625-8106

Looking for forward to Monday at La Meridian and seeing Mr Sasamoto again. With all of the cool fabric options that have been posted I'm pretty sure I will go ahead and get a F/W jacket in one of the Holland & Sherry fabrics or the LP Shepherds Check. Looking forward to seeing them in person.

Some herringbone options from Holland & Sherry's Cashmere Pure Opulence collection. These are some of the coolest swatches we've seen that come with their own trouser fabric recommendations to give you a more complete picture on what to put with it. Now that is impressive!
