Sneak peak of my Ring MTM jacket from the SF trunk show. I'll post a fit pic tomorrow.

Thanks! I've just tried it on, but I'm very happy with the outcome so far.

@Murlsquirl looks great -- what cut is the jacket based on (ie 184, etc)

From what I recall...and my memory is a bit cloudy from all the trunk show fun....it isn't based on RTW model. The adjustments needed to make any of the RTW models fit would have been too drastic, so Mr. Sasamoto wanted to do a custom MTM pattern.

Very nice Murl. I especially like the choice of color for the buttons.

    It's all in the details.

Looks good. Is the buttoning point higher than Eidos? Not a criticism, just curious.

Thanks, Gus. If you didn't shoot me a message to come to the event early, I doubt this would have happened. Needless to say, I'm glad it did....I like the buttons too.

Slightly higher, 6. I haven't measured to confirm or see exactly how much higher, but I'm pretty sure it is. I don't mind it at all.

I spent an enjoyable afternoon in Carmel today, including a fun couple of hours in Khaki's. Jim took me all over the store, and I do mean all over, showing me all sorts of wonderful things. His enthusiasm is infectious and then it becomes expensive! I made a couple of purchases that I'm very pleased with and I'll look forward to making another road trip south again soon. Thanks, Jim, for a very pleasant couple of hours and for being so helpful and informative!

And a selfie, because why not?
