Even though he was the one least in gree he did look the best out of everyone else, that is why I choose holdfast. the others look as if they threw their closets into a paint mixer and threw on whatever shot out.

That's ridiculous. Chorse color ensemble is obviously way too sophisticated for you to comprehend.

This was, what Kent Wang wrote:"Contestants will be judged on best use of the color green. One can put together an outfit made up entirely of green items, or subtly use other complementary colors, but green should be the dominant color." Of course, people will try to use different kinds of greens to comply with the criteria. Moreover, I suppose most people would wear the exact same outfit on the street an be comfortable with it. Personally, I don't like holdfast's tie/shirt combo, imho the colors do not harmonize. Most importantly though, I want to see different, exciting and interesting outfits and hence I think holdfast did a good job. You have to admit though that green is not the predominant color in his outfit.

I thank you for your kind vote, but the last sentence is ridiculous. Not only do they utilise far more green than I did (thus meeting the contest criteria more closely than I), but they have combined them very well indeed, to achieve different final effects.

I think it's fair to say the green contest has resulted in a wider range of finalists' ensembles than the other contests so far. Some very different looks, but they all look excellent to me.

I voted Get Smart. The jacket did it for me. Stunning. Don't think much of his bottom half though.

And I seriously hope that's not his own gaff. If it is, how could a guy with such a sense of style have such disastrous taste in interior design?!!

I chose holdfast, it was a very bold look to me, i liked that it had character, but wasnt outrageous.

It is clear that selecting prior winners to judge the subsequent contest is not working, Kent. Choose an alternative.

Dear Large Bris,

Your post makes me sad. I feel that Mr. Harris did a fine job and selected the appropriate finalists. Now, judging from your other posts in these contest threads, it would appear that you think quite highly of your own entries. While I think that a healthy self esteem is a good thing, the ability to deal with reality and the perceptions of others is also important. Perhaps your entries were not as stellar as they might have been, and that is why you were not selected.

I remain, here to help.

On second thought Harris, maybe not the "Grand Poobah". I'll have to think something up. Something more...judgey
