Nice, do you have overcoat/heavier cloth books?

Looks great! what other selections did you make? Standard shoulder and standard canvas? or soft shoulder and soft canvas?
Was there a wider shawl option available?

That looks great. It looks like they widened the shawl lapels since i bought mine (5 years ago now).

I couldn't recall your username, but this was my thought as well.

I went with Standard shoulder, standard canvas for formality, but I do have the back unlined since the wedding was in Florida and it's mohair. Grosgrain lapels as well - I might have gone with satin if I did it again. Grosgrain, to me, looks more natural on my peak lapel tux.

There was a wider lapel option available as well, but it was very wide.

The best part about the MTM process was all the adjustments that can be made around the neck/shoulder/sleeve pitch area. There are pictures of me throughout the night in all different poses/ arm positions, but in all of them the shoulders of the jacket are well seated and there is zero collar gap.

If I recall, I also lowered the buttoning point and lengthened the jacket a bit from the standard. I'll post the full detail of fit changes if I can find it in my email.

Worth noting that I did get fitted with Aaron in person, then made minor adjustments at Wazin when I received the jacket, but a reorder should be a seamless process now.

Sure! There are great options from Huddersfield Cloth and Abraham Moon in England, and Ariston and others in Italy. Plus our stock books which are mostly from Italian mills/merchants. Email me at [email protected] and I'll tell you more.

Fwiw, I prefer grosgrain to satin. The wider shawl lapel is very intriguing. Absolutely intend at some point to have a KW dinner jacket made up after seeing this.

Was looking to pick up the great wave PS now that they're restocked. What's the advantages/benefits of the wool/silk vs the all silk PS? Noticed the wool/silk is still backordered. I only have a white linen square so was looking to add another and thought the great wave would be good but not sure of the material advantages (or disadvantages)

... isn't it just going to be sitting in your pocket, with a fraction of it visible to the world? It could be made of rayon and you would never notice.

I have a Kent Wang Bauhaus watch v4 that I purchased from Mass Drop on December 1, 2015. I have worn it maybe a total of 30 times. Since I bought a new watch, I'm looking to sell it. If anyone is interested in it, let me know.

Note: the purple on the back of the watch is just a reflection of my purple brita water filter.

All silk will have a higher sheen, whereas wool/silk will have a more matte, gauzy feel to it. I'm sure others can explain it better, but that's how I think of it. You're right that the Great Wave is still backordered in wool/silk, but we have a fair number of other styles that have it in stock.

Wool silk sits in the pocket much better. My 13 inch all silk squares from KW just fall to the bottom of the pocket, to the extent I no longer wear them. The 13 inch woo silk GW is excellent and one of my most used

I think it's fair to say most SFers (myself absolutely included lol) are outrageously neurotic about things most normal human beings couldn't begin to care about.
@chrispy650 wool/silk will have a duller look, and a different, heftier feel to it. If you go all silk, go 17". 13" wool/silk would be fine, but, as WTL said, 13" silk squares are too difficult to make work.
