Just got my first pair of KW MTM trousers in yesterday and for an MTM first try they are perfect. Nailed every last detail and even though Aaron questioned the high rise I requested (+4 cm) because he had to be worried it would be too big of a change from the base model, they fit perfect. Going to play a little with the leg opening but other than that will not change a thing. Now I'm going to have to pull the trigger on a bunch more and get a suit started too_Only complaint is the inner waist band button already broke, but that happens.
Email us. You can take it to your tailor and we'll cover the cost of repair.

Kent had the idea that a blazer should have some texture. He suggested this fabric (I forgot what number, but if you look at my posts in this thread or email him, you'll see it).

That's the 7121 nailhead from the Basic 1 book.

See my sig for a great deal on a brand-new, unworn KW suit! Size 43-44, mid-gray staple fabric.

What's the lapel width on this?

I am on the lookout for some chukkas, and have had my eyes on these for a while now. If someone could provide in the wild photos, and perhaps some sizing info, it would be much appreciated.

The widest option. The jacket is a 38. I love the way it looks.

Here's a recent post of regular lapels on the same size. Jacket is significantly shorter.

Is it just me or do the standard lapels not look all that different from the wide lapels? I'm sure if you got out a tape measure you could see the difference there, but in the pics they look pretty similar as far as the overall shape compared to the rest of the jacket, at least in this example.

I did measure the standard vs wide.

Wide is as advertised by KW site. Standard was slightly wider than shown. I'm OK with it. Though maybe some people may not be.

Plus, the fact the standard lapel jacket is smaller in multiple measurements probably plays a trick on the eye.

My "standard" lapel is on the wide side as well--but I love it. I was split on whether or not to go with the wide width, but the Normal is perfect IMO, at least for my height.

Well, below is my second suit attempt with KW. I am not sure what to think about the back of the coat and I feel the back of the trousers are too big. I went with belt loops on the my first suit and the trousers were fine but I went with no belt loops so Kent recommended increasing the waist size which left me with the results below. Any thoughts on these pics? Thank you!

I don't think the pants look very good at all, personally. Even the fronts don't look great around the pelvis area. It looks like they are caught on the backs of your shoes. Does it make a difference if you fix that?

Unfortunately I agree Nine. No, it doesn't make much of a difference fixing the bottoms.

Radhchad, pants are too big especially from behind. Butt and thigh area too baggy.

Did you get a sample suit first and tweak from there or did you go straight into MTM?
