Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to see the suit.

But you sons of bitches better get some color and patterns in your next MTMs.

Been trying to get another one from KW but bills take priority. And I need to rebuild some savings. Sucks because all it takes is like $350 since I've got credit from returning trial pants but never getting a suit.

Very, very happy with my KW MTM suit--posting here because I spent a lot of time considering it, including looking on SF to see if anybody had super convincing pictures, and I'd now recommend it to anyone looking for a great suit on a budget. Kent was incredibly helpful--gave very solid advice for fitting based on photos that I sent of myself wearing the trial suit, and then gently advised on features and styling until everything was settled. The suit needs a couple tiny alterations, but these are due to mistakes that I made in sending the measurements rather than any fault of his.

All in all, a great experience and I hope to come back for a round 2 soon (I work in tech, though, so suits aren't a clothing priority for me at the moment). I'll post pictures once I have some good ones--I owe my grandma some pictures anyway, so I've got to get some taken soon :D. Meanwhile, I have been back to the store several times for other staple items. Color me a truly satisfied customer.

My kingdom for decent pictures of roped shoulders. Either through Kent or someone else that uses the same factory

Yup, now that I got my staple navy and grey, next suit will definitely be a pattern, after I order my navy blazer later this week.

Question for the crowd - what kind of buttons should I get? I was thinking the same brown horn I got on my grey suit, but they're on the darker side, was hoping for something a little lighter. I asked Kent if he had any lighter horn options but he said he didn't. Any thoughts on other options? Except brass or metal, don't want either of those. Maybe smoked MOP?

I got the same brown on mine. You are right, they do look almost black.

Only advice I can give is get the same ones, or maybe white. And if you don't like them, ask around about getting other buttons after you get the jacket.

I have somehow come to accumulate three navy blazers. Two have dark brown horn buttons and one has antiqued silver buttons. I like both options. I'm not a huge fan of smoked MOP, unless it is a Summer blazer.

I got smoke MOP buttons on my navy linen jacket that arrived a couple days ago---I still haven't had a chance to try it on, but I'll try to take pictures soon!

I have smoked on a blue herringbone (very) lightweight hopsack from epaulet. Those buttons look great on a more summery jacket, I agree.

Nice! How is the fabric on the jacket? I think a navy linen BlazerSuit might be like 4th on my list after navy hopsack blazer, 3rd patterned suit, and brown odd jacket.

Given you're in Florida, I'm surprised linen isn't higher on the list! I'd also love to see pictures of a KW linen jacket.

I'm getting a lot of linen odd trou and cotton-linen shirts for biz cas office wear, but when I wear suits for work (maybe 4-5 times a month) they need to be fairly conservative. Not sure yet if I can wear a linen suit to a board meeting.

Good point, that! My linen suit is generally for weddings and such (although if I wore it to work, no one would be able to tell the difference between it and a more formal suit - I'm in software :)

Smoke MOP and 11 oz navy linen

The buttons are pretty shiny and iridescent. I'll have to report on how it wears at a later date. It needs pressing to smooth out the creases before I can rumple it up by wearing if. Their color from most angles is most like something in between the buttons at the top and second-from-the-bottom in the photo.
