Sneaker v2 (right photo) has arrived. Sneaker v1 (left photo) has been discounted to $65. Still only sizes 7-9. Sizes 10-12 in about six weeks.

The v2 looks awesome. I liked v1 but was a little hesitant to pull the trigger because they're a bit too retro looking for my taste. I'm definitely snagging the v2 when the larger sizes come in. This design is much closer to the Common Projects, but at about a quarter of the price.

I think Kent said 5-6 weeks.

V2 is rocking! I really think the look is improved, less clunky in a way. I'm definitely on board for my next sneaker purchase. Did I hear something about different colors, gray and black as I recall?

v2's silhouette looks much improved, well done. Are the materials still the same, with the design being the only change?

Agreed on the sneakers - the shape of v2 looks much better. The first iteration of the sneaker looked too much like a bowling shoe to me. Do these size the same as your other shoes? I wear a 12 in the benchgrade captoes, and for reference I also wear a 12 in Chuck Taylors.

New and improved! The only suggestion I would make is to remove the partition between the toebox and the tongue, it subtracts from the clean look of the shoe, or maybe that's just me.

Just to update everybody on this, I do have it back from the tailor and will be posting pics of it up soon. The Jacket didn't need any work, but the pants needed to be hemmed and brought in at the waist.

My wedding is two weeks from this Saturday. I know I owe lots of people pics. Feel free to PM me if anyone has any Q's about it.

Here's an updated pic with my whole wedding outfit. It is a bad photo. Tie (seven fold, unlined, untipped) and square (Carlo Riva linen) are Sam Hober, shirt is Distante bespoke (local Philly bespoke maker), and you can't see the links for the cuffs but they are KW as well (KW pearls). Shoes are Alden 901s.

I will have more detail pics on very soon.

Gray suede in those sneakers would be absolutely perfect. I've been looking for something along those lines for months now and I can't find anything unbranded (Common Projects gold numbering counts as branding in my book).

I have a number of Kent Wang Polos (long and short sleeved). Since colours I want aren't offered, I decided to try an Orlebar Brown long sleeve polo. Despite being much more expensive, I find the OB polo fit, material, and details to be all inferior to the KW polos. So, PLEASE offer more long sleeve polos in dark or faded colours, like a slate/graphite gray, and various faded dark blues and grays. Please also make a long sleeve polo in the royal blue colour of the short sleeve one, which is perfect.

The navy blue and black Kent Wang long sleeve polos are awesome for work. The brighter ones aren't quite as work appropriate.

    Hey all,

I'm posting here for feedback. I've purchased polos from Kent before and I really love his products. I decided to take the plunge with a suit from him, but with the OTR "tester" here I'm worried we won't be able to nail it in one go because lots of things need adjusting. I'm always a tough fit with a 10" drop...

I'd love your thoughts while I'm waiting for Kent to get back to me. $750 is real money, and I REALLY don't want to wind up with an expensive suit that just doesn't fit well. I have my own thoughts, but I'll defer to those who know more. Some of the later pics may seem redundant, but I took off my watch because it was catching my shirt and making things look lopsided. I left in the originals just to get variation on how things fall. I also have a video if you want to see how it moves on me. http://evanbaines.com/dropbox/kent-1.mp4

I feel bad for Kent having to put up with me. I'm the PITA client.

    Thanks for your input!

And for the sake of comparison, here's an outfit I think fits my body type pretty well.

EMB1980: that looks pretty good to my untrained eye. The back of the jacket needs to be cleaned up. I would also strongly suggest a close-up of how the lapels and collar sit while wearing a shirt and tie. When I did this, it showed a slight collar gap that led Kent to suggest we narrow the collar, which was the spot on recommendation. Right now I cannot tell how it sits relative to your shirt collar because you're wearing a button-down shirt that is open.

And, for what it's worth, listen to Kent's recommendations. He really differentiates his MTM service from the other ones based on how good he is in diagnosing fit issues based on these pictures. I'm very happy with my recent suit.

This was my issue with the polo too, but I think it is constructed that way and it it not supposed to hug your bicep.

I just received a couple of KW polos and the fit is pretty good. However, the armholes seems to be bigger than most slim-fitted brands that I own - J.crew and BR. How much armhole space is considered excessive? I have about one inch of fabric to taper before it's skintight for my biceps. I'm afraid if I size down, the shoulders would be too tight.

I didn't wash the shirt yet, but would washing the sleeve smooth out the creases and make it appear to have a more circular shape rather than a flat-ironed shape?

IMO it looks too big. What size polo is that? Also what is your height and weight?
