Definitely wanted that rider so hard, but knowing my luck I'd get **** on it. White anything scares me, can't wait to see you rocking it though.

I was in Cotton Sheep last week in San Francisco. So many interesting Kapital items. I don't step to far out of typical fits and styles but this coat I thought was very cool and special. I'm 6'2" and 180 and it seemed too large for me in size 5. But I was tempted. I think had it been a bit more fitted I would have gone for it.

I saw it there too...amazing piece. Other than that, the selling point for me is that it was literally the only size 5 I've ever seen Kapital put out, which would be perfect for me.

Does anyone know of any other size 5 things out there?

I have the beach fleece version in a 3 and I love it. Wear it all the time as a casual throw on. I'm 5'10" and have a 38.5" chest, there is def more room to spare

How is this beach fleece kakashi btw? Is this rather thick and dense fabric or more on lighter side? Would it be fine for spring layering piece or too warm?

I'd say the beach fleece fabric definitely on the thicker side, more so than a typical sweatshirt. It should serve well as a casual spring outer but would probably be too thick as a mid layer.

That fit looks amazing, I definitely can't wait to go back to japan to try and grab one of those jackets. What shirt are you wearing underneath the jacket?

On another note, I actually think cherry blossom time is overrated. Aside from it's short length, it's not very different from what you see in DC. I actually think travelers are sleeping on the beauty of the changes in autumn, now that **** blows me away.

@d4nimal @peachfuzzmcgee definitely worth checking it out at least once! I chose Fukuoka because the Kyushu region has a beautiful landscape and I knew the crowds would be more manageable.

I hear it’s very crowded in the major cities and the last thing I wanted was to feel anxious about crowds this trip. Fukuoka is full of friendly people and I made a lot of friends at the picnic my hostel hosted over the weekend. It’s a great city with lots of sights in neighboring areas.

That's good to know, last time I went around this time was in Tokyo, and I thought the crowds were unbearable haha. I definitely will try and make it out to Fukuoka when I go next! My wife is from Hiroshima so it's not too far from there on shinkansen.
