Ah damn glad I checked here first. Was about to get a Damascus Fleece off !Y Auctions, but it's looking like it's probably fake. Didn't know there were fakes out in the market now. I guess I'll just continue buying Kapital only from the stores when I visit Japan, but damn it's hard to get to Japan right now!

The fleeces and Bandana jackets are the most popular fakes, but there are plenty of fakes of other items out there that you wouldn't expect like the sashiko bucket hats and the corduroy Double-Knee Carpenter pants. Good deals are still out there, just more difficult to parse through. Unfortunately for the fleeces, the too-good-to-be-true deals are just that, and should be scrutinized accordingly.

My Ring Coat is a size 2 and I float between a Medium (in oversized stuff) and a large (in normal sized stuff).. What size should I get in the JUBBAHN SHIRT (DOTERA REMAKE)? Thanks!

I'm actually surprised to see my Ring Coat is a 2, but I got it fitted in Japan and that was the best fit for me.

Is anyone familiar with the fleece cloak or pancho from Kapital? Here is one listed on ebay (not my listing) as an example.

Can't find a fit pic on the internet at the moment. Wanted to get thoughts or feedback from anyone who has handled one.

That is what I was looking for. It is an interesting piece, but probably the more conventional full zip fleece would get more wear.

But it is always fun to see alternatives.

How thick and warm are the fleece sweatshirts? Specifically the patchwork, quilted, and printed (Mozart, smiley face) ones. Are they thin and you can throw them on over a tee at night warm (good for 60s Fahrenheit)? Or are they more substantial, warm, and trap heat?

@bry2000 I think that is true with everything, the zip up fleece is a lot more versatile and would get more wear. It doesn't make a statement like the poncho though. It's just a matter of how you would fit it into your wardrobe and how often you'd wear it. The ponchos not closed at the neck would be more versatile than this one though.

I have one of the quilted fleeces (if you're referring to the sweatshirts that have a quilt on the back), and I would say they're good for keeping you warm at night when the temp drops into the 60s F. Mine doesn't feel like it traps heat. Hope that's helpful.

I have a Beethoven Crewneck. I would say that it is medium weight - I don't get particularly warm in it, but I'm particularly sensitive to the cold. The weave is about the same thickness as my other sweatshirts/hoodies, but it's difficult to compare because my hoodies are all fleece-lined or old and pilled. The fourth photo I've included is the fabric folded over, so the thickness should be about half of what I have measured there, if that provides any insight.
