I'll concur with the 3. I'm 44" chest and am 6'0. I have a black wool ring coat in size 2 that I snagged off grailed, and really wish it was a 3 (or a 4 but it sounds like they don't make them). It works, but I wish it was longer.

I also have a denim ring coat in size 3 (which is what they fit me with at Kapital Kyoto) and it's pretty much perfect, but the denim ring coats run larger and longer AFAIK.

So, what everyone is saying is that I should buy a size that doesn't exist.

Oh well, so much for my foray into Kapital (may be a good thing).

6'2 and 200 lbs. 42-43" chest or something like that.

I've got a size 2 ring coat, and it's quite small. I like it, because I don't want it larger, but I would not go for a smaller. I'd rather wear a size 3, but I picked it up for cheap from a user here.

It's awesome. I recommend it.

Not sure if you're aware, but Tall Ring Coats have been made in the past. It may be worth looking into if you ever felt compelled to buy another one.

Size 3 I'd guess will be just fine. It's the 6'1" part that's the most crucial for sleeve length really.

The tall ring coats should have the same sleeve length as the short ones, I'd imagine.

Cross post from should I buy thread. I am really liking this jacket. I got a serious bandana feel going on atm.
I really like that bandana jacket. I saw someone wearing it a few months ago and thought it looked great.

I have been tempted to get it, but I am unsure about sizing since it seems to run small. I will probably wait until my local stockists open up to try it. May need to go up to a size 5.

Well seller is willing to accept $320 shipped for the khaki rigng coat. That color according to Kapital is the green and not what golden.

Worth it for a jacket I'm not sure will fit?

That's not a bad price on the US market. I'd be shocked if it didn't fit. Aside from the sleeves, there's not so much of shoulder seams and drops to worry about. It's like fitting a trash bag.

Just put your body through a host wash and a tumble dry.

Ok, well I bought the trash bag. Let's see if it fits and I actually wear it.
