Yea I had a pair of Hender Scheme timbs, some Kapital pants, couple books, some cups. I completely spaced on telling them to mark the value lower. Got hit with duties and stalked by the FDA cause of the glass cups (they inspect everything that has to do with food apparently, even glassware???). Again, face palm

What was the delivery service (EMS, FedEx etc?)

UPS. They’re usually much faster (and cheaper) than the other services, but they really fucked the timing of this shipment too. 2-4 days has become closer to 10.

I've generally had good luck all around with EMS shipping from Japan, but maybe your package was too big to use that service.

Damn that's a good haul for $900~! How much did you get the timbs for?

I've never done UPS internationally, I always prefer EMS. It's always seemed cheaper imo.

UPS has fucked me this week, too. Two delays due to "operational issues" while it's just been sitting in my city.

Yea, I got a pretty good deal on everything. Around 350 for the Timbs I think, and everything else was just really cheap stuff since I had a big package coming anyway.

My UPS delivery guy told me to call customer service and complain because it's a ****-show at the warehouse apparently. For this package though, it was around $50 cheaper than EMS (which unfortunately still doesn't make up for the duties and FDA fees).

Hmm not sure. ZenMarket did offer it, but like I said, it was $50 more.

Anyway, finally got my package. The southwestern blanket ring coat is on another level from all the other ring coats I’ve handled. Details coming. (HenderTimbs are great too—and fit as weird as people say—but this ain’t the thread for that.)

I'm sorry if this has been discussed in depth (maybe buried back a few dozen pages) but my local retailer is out of two cool pieces in my size. What is the best way to order Kapital from overseas for US delivery?

I'm looking for the crash blue jeans aloha shirt and navy/blue CPO shirt both in size 4.

If there’s stock showing in your size on the Kapital eshop, I’ve uses FromJapan to ship here with satisfactory results.

Another alternative is Zenmarket.jp - I've not compared the merits of the three approaches but was happy with Zenmarket's service.

Thanks guys for your help, I connected with Jon and the CPO transaction is underway.

Unfortunately the Aloha shirt wont be ready until April. Was trying to score it in time for a Hawaiian Easter vacay. May look into one of the all white short sleeve options that a couple of North American retailers have.

If the Aloha shirt you're interested in is in the same cut as the Kapital Alohas I have, note they run a bit short. I think they work on my 5'10" frame, but I know you're a bit taller. Maybe something to double check, if you haven't already.

Great shirts though. Some of my favorite for summer.
