Does anyone know the backstory of Kapital STB? At first I thought it was that car part company but Googled it and that's STP. I think they've used this before but I couldn't find anything with a search.

I think it's "8TB" and the "T" looks like a mushroom to me

I think it's just a goofy print knock off mimicking STP, I don't think it really has any real rhyme or reason but maybe it does?

I dunno that Ring coats are faked tbh? Old old ones have rings instead of buttons, I prefer the button versions personally. Sizing matters most for length imo.

Sadly they are. I asked for a LC on the ripstop alpine one in here and that user (forgot his name) who made a thread on how to spot fakes on reddit showed it was fake pointing out all the discrepancies.

That was an uncommon make too, if they faked that I'm sure they faked the others. I just assume a lot of the stuff on Gr@iled, Poshmark, etc are fakes especially the smiley and bone stuff

There are definitely fake Ring Coats out there, but they're a lot less common than other replicas like the bone knits, sham bombers, etc. Most older Ring Coats are safe, but if you have any concerns just post photos here and I should be able to help you out.

I bought a second hand RJ recently (older model with the metal loop buttons).

Not sure if you're still looking, but apart from what's been said already, a dead giveaway with Ring Jacket fakes I've seen was the hardware is terrible.

Just grabbed a Beautiful China Kimono/Pillow for $650. Haven't seen a piece as fun as this for ages. Maybe I'll regret it down the line but I think it's more versatile than it looks.
