IMG_4933.JPG Aloha shirt sizing update. Got the shirt in from S&S. I generally like about 18.5" across the shoulder and 22" across the chest. And generally like a shade more rather than less. This size 4 fits the bill. Got some gum? too. Will post a photo actually wearing it soon enough.

Nice shirt. I prefer shirts a little larger and sometimes the 4's do it, but others are just a bit snug.

Those are really nice. Kapital does like to size it's denim small.

Great fun!

Yes I'd go with measurements rather than sizing with Kapital - I've got 36's that are really loose and 38's that are really snug, but generally they run quite small.

Yeah Kapital seems to run at least two sizes small. Looking at size charts online and as a 30" waist I would need a 32" in most of their denim.

I dunno, but i find it really suspicious that all the jackets are +/- 10 pounds or the same price, all right under 200...not worth it.

dont do it. i've noticed rackety-looking sites like this advertising the fairly esoteric items i search for (say, 'marni flannel coat') at ridiculous prices. i can only assume they are scams based on search history

Thanks, guys. They might have got me if the prices weren't so low and I didn't have you awesome folks as a reseource...

Seems very unlikely to me. Even the original prices would be extraordinary, much less the discounted prices.

That's interesting as a process for a scam, though it's odd when you consider that if I'm searching for expensive, esoteric stuff I might well have a sense that the prices aren't logical.

I'm always a little intrigued by what the actual endgame is for something like this. Seems unlikely they'd get to keep your money if you use a credit card or paypal to pay. Are they going to steal said credit card number? Are they just going to send you some counterfeit and assume you won't notice?

I guess I'd make a bad criminal. I don't get it.
