Thanks @ManofKent!

I'd say there is in fact a reddish cast. These are the kakishibu dyed version, which the internet says is "the traditional process of dyeing with fermented persimmon."

They do a grey-cast base as well. And now a indigo/indigo version. Don't believe that last one is widely available yet.

@mistersparkle just found this clip of him mentioning some of the same clothes as the article (no brands mentioned tho) while wearing clothes he mentioned in the article. so it could be all real.

in the article he says he wears them on stage on tour--i'm surprised in the difficulty in finding footage or pictures of him on a stage though. but he has previously worn a strange tie while talking about, um, accessories:

Wow, that first video is pretty much word-for-word from the story. Great finds!

    Agreed on Colorado Hippies.

    Sailor Ninja
    Route E10
    Sant Domingo Burning Man
    Farmy

    are all really good

Diamonds in The Rough, Peace Pilgrim and The Tide is High are probably my 3 least favourites, but they're still interesting.

They are frequently dirt cheap on yahoo.jp / rakuten but postage is pricey on weight so I've avoided the sets of used ones that always seem to be 50% duplicates.

Ebay is generally very pricey for both catalogue and shipping. If anyone has any other sources let me know!

Just so @ManofKent isn't the only one posting Kapital fits, here's my Black Melton Wool Ring Coat. Both buttoned and unbuttoned. Such a great and comfortable piece.

They do indeed look wild. Would like to see them against a solid background (thought the house looks lovely!).

The latest catalogue - 'Denim Perth' arrived this week. It's a strong collection and the catalog is starting to crop up on yahoo.

Thanks there's a handful of those I haven't got. Shipping costs for the lot might be prohibitive though (particularly the way the brexiteers have killed our economy) :(
