I wear a 15.75/35 in the NY Slim Fit and the sleeve placket measures out at just over six inches. The cuff is about 2 7/8 inches on top of that. A few weeks back I was able to stop into the NY store and even more than the selection of shirts I was really impressed by their tie selection. Knits, grenadine, wool. Some really great stuff. Also just got these in the mail:
FWIW - the medium Vintage Ivy Chambray fits almost exactly like the NY Slim I usually wear.
I tried the Chambray on yesterday too, but didn't love the fabric and the collar and the fit, so passed. Really wanted to leave the store with something, but guess I am waiting for the OCBD.

I wear a 15.75 as well, and the medium vintage shirt was considerably smaller in the chest and the shoulders for me. Even tried on both shirts after each other, and noticed a remarkable difference.

I went to Kamakura friday night. Got fitted up by a very nice guy named Jay.

As for the shirts they drape perfectly on my. They look much better than the Brook ESF shirts I have. Attached are pictures of the fit on me. This is obviously pre first wash but the instore shirts you can try on have been previously washed and the drape and feel is great on those. All I can say is if BB ESF shirts were your staple shirt (as it was mine) def give Kamakura a try.

Pictured is a 15 - 32.33 in a Tokyo Slim. For reference I am 5'8" 145lb

That's odd. I just measured my medium chambray and one of my oxfords and the P2P on both was 22". Strange.

Anyone that has one of the linen shirts care to comment on sizing compared to NY slim fit? I'm a 41/16 in the NY SF and get 1 inch off the sleeves , but seems like i'll need a large for the sleeve length, but the neck seems awfully big on the large. If anyone knows if the measurements are accurate would be appreciated.

Funny you should mention it...I am going in very soon (tomorrow or Sunday) to see and try on those linen shirts. I will report back (though I don't wear the NY slim.)

I bought a tie from them, pretty decent, it looks like I should try out their shirts...
