What's up?. I was thinkin' about gettin' a beard like Justin Timberlake. It has been stylish for a while now to wear a beard and I feel like I'm ready to jump on the train... the only problem is that I'm not gettin' that much of a beard yet. I'm 18 years old and my 'beard' looks more like 'face-hair' ... you could compare it to Justin's beard. My face is very similar to his too, therefore I thought it might be a good idea... maybe I'll look a little bit more mature and masculine?. I'm totally satisfied with my outward appearance, but I would still like to hear your personal opinion: Is a 'beard' like that ok, or does it look wrong since it's not that full yet. Thanx for your help.

i grew a beard when i was fifteen, and have let it grow out every once in a while ever since. i think when you're eighteen you can get away with pretty much anything fashionwise. people will see you and know you're young, so they don't expect your beard to grow in thick.  it's going to take a little practice for you to learn what your ideal length is. i like how i look with a 2-3 week beard, but after that it gets too scruffy. at your age i say grow out your beard until you get tired of it, shave, then stay clean shaven until you get tired of that. repeat...
