Giving Amex gift cards to 12 years olds surely has to be illegal - even in the US?!?!

If PayPal let you purchase something worth more than what you had on your PayPal account, isn't that PayPal's mistake? They're stupid for letting you spend money you don't have, unless you have some kind of credit agreement with them or you have a credit card connected to your account. If you have $30 on your account and try to buy something that costs $65, the transaction shouldn't be approved, it's that simple.

You need to start running for the border now, head for somewhere in South America where they don't have an extradition treaty, or where you can live under a fake identity.
Don't use air transport, don't use the major ports, stick to hitch-hiking and the bus, if anyone asks to see your ID just walk away.
Don't use your mobile phone or any of your credit or debit cards, draw as much cash as you can at one time then dump all your plastic.
Buy several pre-pay phones from several different shops to keep in touch with loved ones, only use each one once, only in crowded areas and for a short a time as possible.
Find work as a farm hand or rent boy to earn a living.
After a couple of years it should be safe to head back, but take it slow. Good luck.

Your life as you know it over.

Next time we see you, you'll be kneeling between Rush Limbaugh's legs, your head bobbing up and down.

That, my friend, is what happens to people who screw up with Paypal.
