Well, I pulled the trigger on my most expensive suit purchase to date - an incredible Isaia (NOT the bridge/Gianluca line) charcoal pinstripe 3-button with flat front pants. The 40r fit me off the rack like a glove, with only minor alterations required. I am very excited to receive the finished product in 2 weeks and will post pics.

I have to say - the Isaia suits looked absolutely stunning. I thought many of them were sharper looking than the Kitons/Brionis on display. When you factor in the price difference, there was no comparing them.

Also as an FYI - Barneys just this weekend mailed out flyers for their 30-50% off winter sale beginning next weekend. If you go in this weekend, you can get the sale prices before it's officially announced. (items from Brioni, Battistoni, Isaia, Zegna, Kiton and Oxxford included in the sale). Of course, it's just my luck that the suit I liked the most, and ended up purchasing, was excluded from the sale.

Enjoy. I'm very partial to the Isaia silhouette.

Congrats, can't wait for the pics, I'm sure they'll be great. You deserve it after working all those crazy I-banking hours.
