I took delivery of 2 shoes from Leffot this month; an Edward Green MTO Westwood in antique whiskey shell cordovan and a Corthay Kleber in antique brown calf. Both shoes are new models and first arrivals in the USA. Pierre Corthay described the Kleber's design inspiration as a melding of the Balmoral and the Derby styling cues.....that explained why I like it. Well worth the wait and I'm beaming ear to ear.

I realize I have this thing going on with recent purchases exploring different treatments to refresh traditional designs. Along with the EG Perth purchased last year, there's a lot going on.

Tx, both the EG and Corthay look lived in right out of the box.

I have mixed feelings for both of Andyw new shoes

The EG looks way too Italian...like a hybrid saddle shoe...but the Wisky cordovan is dear to my heart

How do you anitque Wisky cordovan?

As to the Corthay. The antique brown is awesome. When I eventually transition to Corthay MTO, I look forward to trying out his various antiqueing jobs

But as to the Corthay's shoe design...it just looks in complete with the brogueing suddenly stopping near the throat?
