My mom gave me a small deep fryer and I used it this morning to make panko breaded french toast:

I definitely want to try making fish and chips (panko and tempura style), fried chicken, maybe fried green tomatoes since a friend has a bunch I can have, and whatever else I can find at the store ready to go.

Anyone have good recipes/tips for frying up some interesting stuff? An awesome fried chicken or fish-n-chips recipe would be especially welcome.

Seriously, it's damn near a religious experience.

I used to joke with a friend about frying some chicken tenders from McDonalds. We would have tried it if we had an actual fryer.

Why do you need a deep fryer to fry foods? I don't get it.

Reese's Peanut Butter cups.

Pio's frozen foie gras.

TTTT, Esquire's Coca-Cola brined fried chicken recipe was not bad. I believe they gave Foo a copy.
