I throw away my Eames chairs after every sitting. I have 14 on order from DWR for next week.

where the hell do you guys live that you accept cockroaches are part of living? Not like you're living in the tropics... And you definitely shouldn't have them in a new expensive new building imo.

I'd toss the chair. Likely infested with roach eggs.

To be fair with the OP, I have lived on a tropical island when I was a child (6-10), and now the sight of a roach will just literally paralyze me. I have one nasty phobia :embar:

You are a baller, so I wouldn't expect any less.

Cockroaches and rat are a part of city living, I see BIG ass rats on a weekly basis.

You can easily dismantle that chair and clean it, so need to bin it.

Anywhere in the Southern US cockroaches are a part of life. Infestations no, but an occasional one yes.

OP, likely they were nesting in there. The smart thing to do would be to put it ouside and treat it with a bug killer. Once it was clean bring it inside. Throwing it away is some pansy ass ****.

Styleforum has the highest per capita level of preciousness in the world. Grown men worried abuot cockroaches :fu:

Hey...like half the posts in this thread were people saying "I'd be happy to take it off your hands"

Hell, you could use cockroaches instead of packing peanuts and I'd still take it.

China, and previously in the United Kingdom. A couple of roaches are OK, I usually find them in the bathroom. But if one has an infestation and your place is full of them, then you probably do have a problem.

AFAIK most cockroaches don't know much about real-estate values, They don't pay rent or have mortgages, they're insects.

Mr. and Mrs. Cockroach..."OMG!!! this is a million dollar apartment, we'd better stay out!". ;)
