This is either someone from the recent movie "Blindness" started sewing for J.Crew, or it's an image from a nightmare I had after drinking 1/2 a bottle of amaretto while watching Jerry Springer re-runs.

but there's no denying those pants are ugly.

on the other hand, i have a pair of patchwork madras pants from brooks brothers that are going to get a lot of wear next spring

Those are objectively horrific, but OTOH if I found them in a thrift store I would probably wear them.

+1 to this and J's comment. I'd wear them happily with all the swag in the world, I just wouldn't want to pay more than thrift (or possibly outlet) prices for J Crew.
