So, a decent approximation of how I dress. Not a wonder that I liked everything and was at the same time underwhelmed.
Where do people buy Blue Blue Japan (mentioned several times in this thread)? The only places I know about are Mr. Porter, Unionmade, and sometimes Norse store.
Hickorees in NYC and Trunk Clothiers in London also carry it. They also have their own web store: www.seilin-intl-eshop.com/en-itn/home
I want the sashiko jean cut pants already. They'll probably be 10x the price of a similar pair from Blue Blue Japan, though.
Junya construction and quality is fantastic, it's nice to see collections like this that really take advantage of the craftsmanship of individual pieces. I feel like Junya is really one of the more reasonably priced brands considering the amount of work that goes into each piece
Thanks- I already knew about those two- forgot to mention them. Does the website ship outside of Japan and do they have a return policy?
Sorry for derailing this thread.
Yeah this is the most appealing junya collection to me ever. patchwork has been perfected. the prints, stripped down/consistent palette. my favorite collection for the season i think
They were really nice, especially the patch sweater/long sleeve shirt looks dope too
Gorgeous. I like how it takes a handful of ideas/colours and milks them for all they're worth.
Thanks for posting Shah, love so much of this. Not just the patchwork but some of the floral too.
Norse Store also has some. Got the Sashiko vest from Mr Porter this week and it is so cool. The fabric is insane.
Anyone have links to extensive pictures of the upcoming FW14 collection?
How does one do that google link reply- it's great!
Yeah I can see what Fok is getting at in terms of Junya not really using the denim/boro japanese-y heritage thing in a new or unexpected way. Even the off white/beige patchwork has been done by Kapital recently:
Having said that I keep on coming back to have another look because all of it looks awesome. And this is very Junya to me - the fabrics, reversibility, details
Possibly my favorite though:
